Working Area
The Lower Jordan Rift Valley, an extensive geotectonic fault system, is shared by three nations. The area is intensively used by irrigated agriculture, being a natural greenhouse. However the scarcity of water due to semi-arid and arid climate is the key challenge for the growing population.
